11:37 AM - Sounds like the flounder bite this morning was a little tough.

I have received reports from several anglers that the striper bite around the South Jetty is good right now but you really need to weed through a lot of throwbacks to get your keeper. Bite seems better around dinnertime.  Guys are having luck tossing any type of swim shad or bucktail.  A lot of 25-inch fish.

11:45 AM - The "3 Amigos" just reported that they have 7 yellowfins in the box.  At 9:45 they caught 2 and at 10:30 they caught another pair.  All between the Baltimore and Poor Man's Canyons.

Jared Elderth on the charter boat, "Lucky Break" caught a 19-inch flounder in the East Channel on a Gulp artificial bait.

2:58 PM - Anglers on the charter boat, "Marli" returned with 18 yellowfins in the box after trolling spreader bars and daisy chains in 80 fathoms between the Baltimore and Poor Man's Canyons.

Charter boat, "Rhonda's Osprey" had 10 yellowfins from between the Baltimore and Poor Man's Canyons.
